Acoustic (steel string) guitars have heavier bracing than classical guitars, usually with a narrower neck and a sharper voice. The strings are steel and are thinner and have much greater tension than classical and a little tougher on the fingers of both hands. Maybe better for picking and strumming and more contemporary music.
